Health, safety and environmental compliance Banner policies have been developed to protect Team Members from potential workplace hazards. Team Members must become familiar with and understand how these policies apply to their specific job responsibilities and seek advice from their supervisor or Environment Health and Safety whenever they have a question or concern. Team Members are responsible for maintaining a safe environment by participating in training and drills, promptly reporting identified hazards, utilizing safe work practices, and adhering to all safety policies and procedures. It is important that Team Members immediately advise their supervisor or Environment Health and Safety of any serious workplace injury or any situation presenting a danger or injury so timely corrective action may be taken to resolve the issue. Banner complies with all environmental laws and operates every facility, provider group, ancillary service area and insurance division with the necessary permits, approvals and controls. We diligently employ the proper procedures to provide a good environment of care and to prevent pollution.
